Ola S1 Pro – Ola Electric continues to achieve record-breaking sales, with the most recent figures revealing impressive February figures. Last month, the company reported 35,000 registrations for its S1 electric scooter range, setting a new record for any brand in India.

Ola Electric has seen a significant increase in electric scooter registrations, almost doubling from February 2023. With over 30,000 registrations in December 2023 and January 2024, the company sold approximately one lakh e-scooters in the previous three months.
Ola offers three electric scooter models – S1. Prices for Ola’s e-scooters begin at Rs 79,999, with the high-end S1 Pro priced at Rs 1.3 lakh.

This Ola electric scooter boasts all-LED lighting, a massive 36-litre under-seat storage capacity, a seven-inch TFT instrument cluster, and extensive smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. Safety features include Side Stand-Down Alert and Anti-Theft Alert, as well as unique functionality such as Geo Fencing, Cruise Control, Reverse Mode, Get-Home Mode, Take-Me-Home Lights, Limp-Home Mode, and Music.

The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter features a single-sided fork at the front and monoshock suspension at the back, resulting in a balanced and comfortable ride. The scooter has a 220 mm disc brake at the front wheel and a 180 mm disc brake at the rear wheel, providing effective stopping power.

Ola Electric claims that the Ola’s S1 Pro electric scooter has a range of 181 kilometres after a full charge, which is certified by IDC. The actual real-world range is 170 kilometres. The scooter has a top speed of 115 kilometres per hour, providing both efficiency and performance to the riders.
Battery and motor of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter
Ola S1 Pro is equipped with a 4kWh lithium-ion battery and an 8500W mid-drive IPM motor that produces 8.5kW of power and 58Nm of peak torque. The home charger fully charges the battery in 6.5 hours, while the Ola HyperCharge network provides a 75-kilometer range in just 18 minutes.
